Daily Overview: Monday April 17th
Prior to session: (3) CBT exercises and a breathing Exercise.
YGTSS: 7 👍
These days happen sometimes.
I managed to go the whole day without more than a few minor tics (that I’m aware of) until later in the day.
I was standing in a pharmacy, impulse buying a glow in the dark lawn darts set, waiting to check out, and the old lady in front of me was having a hard time navigating the self checkout kiosk. I don’t think self-checkout belongs in a pharmacy, but god bless that old lady for not giving up. I was rooting for her, and I also needed to pee like 45 minutes ago. I ticked out briefly during this.
I’ll be totally honest with you – I really don’t want to do this every single day.
I’m not sure what to do about this besides silence the voice in my head that is telling me to consider skip days.
A skip day would ruin the consistency that I’ve determined to be imperative.
Sigh…
DAY 12 SCORES:

BEST SCORE:

Consistent improvement in control.
Average control times are rising as well as peak neural activity.
I was over it by game 3. It was getting late!
I will be meeting with an doctor tomorrow morning to discuss my Tourette Syndrome symptoms and receive feedback on my decision to begin neurofeedback training.
Thanks for reading. 🤙
