Daily Overview: Tuesday April 18th

I sat down with a nurse practitioner this morning. This was the first appointment I’ve had about my TS since I was 13.

It’s a rare for me to be driving somewhere and think, “Gee, I hope I have tics when I get there.” If your car has ever made a concerning noise for a week, and you finally find the time to take it in, you want it to be making the same noise for the mechanic.

I received enthusiastic support on exploring neurofeedback training after discussing some recent supporting research. I was relieved that we had mutually positive feelings towards it.

Everyone is different, but there is certainly promise in strengthening the PFC “against tourette syndrome”.
