UPDATES & THOUGHTS: 4/24/23

We’ve made some updates to the website.

• Better Navigation Buttons (See top right)

• Fixed some text/color design issues

• Revisited reports for label accuracy to ensure all reports are findable within the Daily Report Index

I was excited to begin this experiment and it was only the night before my first session that I had the idea to share it with others.

In a way I feel that the blog has come to serve an important purpose. It’s great positive reinforcement but it has also become a therapeutic part of the process on its own merit. Journaling is always strongly recommended by Psychotherapists, so I think I’m really hitting this out of the park.

I’ve never had a blog before. I am a life-long writer, but not a blogger. I’ve done similar things. ANYWAY…

P.s. Below is a great infographic for those who want to learn more about the many potential challenges that surround TS, which vary widely from one case to another. The neurodivergent population will continue to grow as we evolve as a species, which is why we must continue to devote resources into learning about and utilizing the unique talents and abilities of the neurodivergent community.

Driven by genetics and environmental factors, Neurodivergent people make up an estimated 15-20% of the world’s population. Yet still, unemployment for neurodivergent adults runs at least as high as 30-40%. Thanks to the great efforts of the mental health community, we may soon see neurotypicality become an advantage in the job market.

I’m lucky to have lived to see a time where young neurotypicals will not be treated as broken…or brutally stigmatized.
