Day 18 & 19: Neurofeedback Delay

Daily Overviews: Sunday April 28th & Monday April 29th

THIS IS TWO POSTS IN ONE.

I didn’t mean to do this, but it’s too late. 🤷‍♂️

Revisiting training frequency:

In light of feeling a little too “zoned” after my sessions and one too many headaches, I will be playing as many games as I see fit each day. Again, yesterday (Day 17) I discovered that I was training 14x harder than what was recommended. In doing so, I was able to gauge my tolerance and experience side-affects under heavy use. Now I know. They were entirely bearable- untragic.

YGTSS: 14

DAY 18 SCORES:

BEST SCORE: (B)

My “best” session is extremely notable for highly scientific reasons. Observe the peak followed by a plummet, turbulence, then a bit of flat line. If you’ve ever been in the middle of something tedious only to be aggressively sabotaged by your pet while in a peak state of focus, this is most likely what your prefrontal cortex activity looked like…assuming you were able to fight the animal off, readjust yourself and get back on task successfully.

I shouldn’t have pushed myself into the second game. Activity was high but resilience was off. I was still dialed in from game A, but my heart just wasn’t in it. I was begging for sleep.

NOW FOR MONDAY.

Monday was a long day.

Tics were moderate to aggravating, due to the timing of their occurrences.

YGTSS: 20

DAY 19 SCORES:

BEST SCORE (A)

OK, so I had some headset trouble and I believe low battery on the unit may have affected our data. It’s fine.

***DAY 19 DEEMED UNUSABLE***

I’m insanely busy.
