Daily Overview: Tuesday, May 9th

I am thrilled with what I’ve just discovered.
As I mentioned in the last report, I took a short hiatus to test my resistance levels after experiencing a strong sense of development with PFC control and a correlating reduction of tic frequency throughout my day.
This potential correlation will be tested with time and we will further the training.
Anyway, I just discovered this awesome pulldown chart. Now you can see a daily performance comparison from the beginning of the study to now.
I think Day 20 (April 25th) was the last Neurofeedback session score reported. I could easily check that but I’m going to forge on here to Tuesday, May 9th, Day 22..
You will now be able to see my overall Mendi “wellness score”- as I’m calling it. That’s circled to the left of the daily results.
I started training with a base level score of 62 and currently have an overall wellness score of 89. The score is actually higher if you enter daily notes into the app after each session. The overall score is determined by both performance and consistency. I’ve taken a lot of notes, but none into the Mendi app. Mendi’s achievement system is a nice touch. Here is an example of tracked achievements:

There is no control award above 100 seconds of control. Longest daily streak (without a break): 10 Days.

It can be difficult to hold a streak due to the restraints of the 10 minute minimum I’ve set, especially after a longer than average work day. That said, I could easily fit in a 3 minute game on my worst day. Rather than skip the whole day for the sake of uniformity in game length, I could always fit a quick, 3 minute game in there somewhere.
Why not.
Please note that the new pulldown chart does not represent the total minutes per day, but the total minutes of the best game during the session. This is why my usual format is critical, but maybe.. it’s not critical to the reader? Feel free to share your feedback on what format is relevant to the palatability of the blog.
Here are all of my brain squiggles on the new pulldown chart. Enjoy.

My tics were a little more active this evening than they have been in a few days. Truly not terrible though.
I’ve been invested in several projects. My fiance and I have been having a hard time picking what to have for dinner this week, but having such a great time together the past few days in between all the running. I’m a pretty lucky guy.
You know..I’m happy to be able to say I’m waking up and going to do work that I love to do tomorrow. It wasn’t always this way. I’ve come on hard times that seemed to last forever. Life is good right now. I’m going to do my best to cherish it. Life is short.
So long, until the next report.
